When you use CapVein we collect: your email address; your company or project name; your answers to the Capital Readiness Score™ questionnaire; your project details (commodity, country, stage); documents you upload to the evidence register; and usage data collected via PostHog analytics (page views, feature interactions, session data).
We collect your data to: provide your Capital Readiness Score™ and gap report; operate your workspace and evidence register; send you your magic link login email; improve the platform; and communicate with you about your score and gaps. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
We process your data on the basis of contract performance (to deliver the service you requested), legitimate interests (to improve the platform and prevent fraud), and consent where required.
Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in the EU (Ireland region). Row Level Security ensures your project data is accessible only to you. PostHog analytics data is stored on EU PostHog cloud servers.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict processing; data portability; and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email dorismurphy@capvein.co.
